I arrived at Tribhuvan International airport on 14th Jan 2014.On reaching airport I was happy with friendly behavior of staff; I was satisfied with the security but the only problem was that the toilets were not clean. Overall, a small and good airport but can be maintained better. I rate the airport with 3.5 stars.

Nice, security is perfect and all the staff is very helpful and nice.
Small And Nice
It’s a really small airport. The departure hall is like a bus station. Only 2 boarding gates. The staff is nice.
Clean And Friendly
On November 12th, 2006 I had a flight with Thai Airways from KTM to BKK. The security was very tight at KTM but people were always very friendly. The Duty-Free area is surprisingly big for this airport.
My wife and I was so disappointed with the immigration staff because despite of having all the correct document that particular immigration staff did not allow my wife’s sister to board the flight to Brunei via KL. He was so rude that he did not even tried to see all the papers , instead they were chatting to each other and just making fun of it. I think these kind of bad practice of the immigration staff is really disgusting.
